Ian Tomlinson tragically died of a heart attack at the G20 protests last week. He was not a protestor but a working man on his way home. The Met Police initially stated that they were not involved in any way with the mans death and that they had to fight off rioters in order to treat him. Today video footage has been released showing that this INNOCENT man was assaulted without provocation by the police moments before his death.

The police have diseminated false information in an incident that they appear at least partly culpable. When they released their original statement great emphasis was placed on them having to fight off rioters in order to get the stricken man to safety. WATCH THE VIDEO OF IAN TOMLINSON BEING ASSAULTED BY THE POLICE AND LET US KNOW WHERE ALL THE RIOTERS ARE WHEN HE IS ATTACKED.

And when have the police previously released false information about a death that they were culpable for? The case of Jean Charles De Meneses.

This is unnacceptable. We know that the police do a valuable job and are often taken for granted and abused. We just want them to stop their double standards, their poor treatment of working people and most of all their fucking LIES. We deserve better. We are the people. And we shall not be moved. Justice for all people!
