OUR NEXT SHOW

Well, good evening folks out there in the world of blog. It’s been a while. I’m gonna try and make Thursdays blog a wee bit exiting by doing a video thing on how to play one of our songs.
Well the bass and guitar bits, maybe Phil and Pabs will do ones on how to play the other parts… that would be good eh?

I’ve just finished reading ‘Kingdom of Fear’ which is one of the last things the great Gonzo journalist Hunter S Thompson. A chapter in it is entitled ‘Fear and Loathing in Elko’ (my nickname within the band) and covers the story of the Doc
running a rather large V8 Cadillac through a heard of sheep amongst other things. Pretty good reading folks, in fact I’d go so far as to say you should
try n get your hands on a copy of it. You should also read the Rum Diaries. That’s a quality read as long as you can get on with the style. A lot of H.S.T’s
hype came around his drug use yet he was never so out of control so as not to be able to produce a great read.

On a different note I’ve recently become obsessed with Birthday cake (old skool iced sponge
style). It’s absolutely incredible. I haven’t actually eaten more than a small square
of it in the past 6 months but think it’s something I could get into over the
next few days in the lead up to my Bday. Also if you think about it it’s
someone’s Birthday every day so why not eh?

Why not indeed?
